Google Announces Plans for Data Centers in Muskogee Co.

 

Google announces the company's plan to build two new data center in Muskogee County, Oklahoma.

 

Google data centers are large facilites for storing computer systems and other infrastrcture that runs the company's online services. They store, process, and manage data for products like YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps, and other cloud services.

 

The new data centers will be located near Summit and Council Hill.

 

The expansion is part of $9billion in intvestment in Oklahoma, with the aim of expanding the company's operational scope in support of the state's burgeoning tech and energy sectors.
