Sedan City Council Consider Issues Facing Downtown

The Sedan City Council considers issues facing the downtown area.

At this week's meeting, a Sedan resident raised the issue of improper lighting and the need for bulb replacement in the street lights on Main Street. City Clerk Lana Robinson says she contacted Caney Valley Electric about the issue last spring and was told it would cost the City $9,000.

In other considerations concerning downtown Sedan, Police Chief Kirk Richardson says there will be a slight change to the route for the Sedan Christmas Parade on December 6.

In other business, the council received three bids for a roof replacement at City Hall. The issue was tabled until the next meeting.
