A police pursuit starts in Labette County and ends in Crawford County.

Shortly after 11:00pm, the Crawford County Sheriff's Office was notified that the Labette County Sheriff's Office was in pursuit of a red Chevrolet HHR eastbound on Highway 400 entering Crawford County.  As the pursuit entered the city of Cherokee, one of the deputies successfully deployed a tire deflation device.  The suspect attempted to elude law enforcement, but was stopped when another deputy conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention maneuver.

There were no injuries reported and no damage sustained to any law enforcement vehicles. The driver, who was suspected of committing multiple crimes in Labette County, as well as having active felony warrants for his arrest, was identified as John Edward Logan.  He was turned over to the custody of the Labette County Sheriff's Office.
