Neosho County Community College unveils updated athletic center named after a Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher.

Former Neosho Baseball Player and MLB Pitcher Matt Strahm and his wife Megan's contribution made the new Strahm Family Strength Center a possibility. Head Baseball Coach Steve Murry says this idea came from the Strahm family.

The project focused on renovating the college’s Wellness Center on the Chanute Campus with upgraded equipment and improved training facilities for student-athletes and the broader campus community. Strahm, who graduated in 2012, credits the college for playing a pivotal role in his baseball journey.
