Police in Sapulpa are investigating the fatal accident involving two pedestrians that happened late last night.

 

Authorities say two men were walking along State Highway 66 just after 8pm last night when they were hit by a southbound truck. One of the vitcims later died at a Sapulpa hospital while the other man was taken to a hospital in Tulsa.

 

The driver remained on the scene after the accident and is cooperating with the investigation. Police say the man told them he did not see the pedestrians because it was dark.

 

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
