Independence Community College loses a long-time administrator to retirement and a Board of Trustees member to resignation.

 

Both departures came at last night's Board of Trustees meeting. Vice President for Human Resources Lori Boots asked trustees to approve her early retirement. College President Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo says Boots will remain in her position through June 2026.

 

Trustees also accepted the resignation of Board member Jeri Hammerschmidt. Hammerschmidt was up for reelection this November and did not retain her seat. No reason was given for her departure, which was effective when the Board accepted her resignation.
