The Coffeyville School Superintendent is honored with a state award.

 

USD 445 Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll has been awarded with the Cindy Lane Advocacy Award from the Kansas School Superintendents Association. Correll is the first ever receipient of this award, named for Kansas educator and Parsons native Dr. Cindy Lane. The award honors leaders who champion students, strengthen public education, and advocate for Kansas kids . Correll was chosen based on his leadership in intiatives such as expanding early learning in the district and advancing whole-child support in USD 445.

 

Correll was presented with the award last week at the Kansas Superintendent of the Year Gala in Wichita.
