The 2025 city and school general election ballots are canvassed for Labette County. Clerk Gena Landis says after the canvass there was a tie for the Labette City mayor.

John Collins was the name drawn to serve as mayor. After the unofficial results, there was a tie for the second and third seats on the Parson City Commission. Landis says after some hand votes were counted and some mail in ballots were received the tie was broken. Leland Crooks received 495 and Verlyn Bolinger received 493, so Crooks will get the four year term and Bolinger the two year term.
