Coffeyville Public Library to Host Online Safety Class for Seniors

 

The Coffeyville Public Library will be hosting an online safety class for senior on December 2nd.

 

Coffeyville Are Chamber President Candi Westbrook says it will an informative seminar for those who are concerned about being safe on the Internet.

 

The class is intended for those 55 and over, but all ages are welcome to attend. The seminar is part of TechWise, a grant-funded project led by Greenbush that promotes practical tips and strategies to assist older Kansans with their personal technology and the ever-changing technology that is part of day-to-day life. The project is supported by a grant awarded to the State of Kansas by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

 

The class will be held at the Coffeyville Public Library on December 2nd from 10 to 11am and is free to attend. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
