Touch of Life Ministries hosts a free community meal provided by Gorham's Handyman Services.
On Saturday, volunteers handed out a total of 107 meals to community members at 501 East 9th Street. Additional sponsors for the meal included Nichols Hitching Post, Sonic Drive-in and B's Snacks and Stuff.
Touch of Life provides a street ministry in the summer and operates a warming center when temperatures are below freezing. Organizers are currently working to provide 70 Christmas dinner boxes for those in need this year. If you know someone in need or would like to apply for a box, contact Nola at 620-988-8205 by December 1st. Those interested in helping out Touch of Life can also contact them on Facebook.
