There will be a Hogs For Humanity Community BBQ Sunday afternoon at Riverside Park in Independence.

 

The group hopes to feed more than 300 community members. Organizer Ryan Gilchrist says he and his wife Adrienne Frazier and their friend Starrlight Wilson decided to organize the event as a way to give back to the community.

 

The group hopes to feed more than 300 people. Gilchrist says there will be some great BBQ on the menu.

 

The meal will take place on Sunday at 1pm at the enclosed 4-H building and is free of charge.
