The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects, including a bridge repair project in Woodson County.
KDOT has approved the funding to repair a bridge over Owl Creek on US-75 about three miles north of Yates Center. The $560,000 project was awarded to B & B Bridge Company of St. Paul. B & B Bridge was also awarded an $81,000 contract for grading an resurfacing on RS-173 from K-126 to 570th Avenue in Crawford County.
The bids were awarded on October 22 in Topeka.
