A Copan woman is facing felony charges of assault stemming from a July incident.

 

35-year-old Rashell Hodge was charged on Monday with aggravated assault and battery following an altercation with another individual on July 29. During the altercation, Hodge is accused of striking the victim multiple times. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment for a broken orbital bone and cheekbone.

 

Hodge will appear in court again on December 19. She posted a $10,000 bond.
