Kansas Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens are looking for the public's assistance in finding a suspect in the case of an illegally killed deer in Clark County.
The animal was discovered in the area of County Road I and County Road 10, or about 30 miles south of Dodge City. Wardens suspect the deer was killed with a rifle on Thursday night or Friday morning last week and then left in a field.
Authorities are looking for anyone who might have observed suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information about the illegal shooting to contact the Kansas Game Warden (620) 450-7194 or call Operation Game Thief at 1-877-426-3843. Tips may remain anonymous.
