A full room of representatives from the City of Neodesha, Fredonia EMS, and Labette Health, were on hand to continue discussing options surrounding the Neodesha EMS service.

 

Neodesha City Administrator Brogan Jones and Neodesha City Commissioner Ed Truelove spoke to Wilson County commissioners about recent discussions. Jones says they have a verbal agreement with Labette Health.

 

Labette offers similar assistance options to both Cherryvale and Independence. CEO Brian Williams says this situation will only be resolved with a collaborative effort.

 

Sides disagreed for nearly an hour of discussion, with no immediate action taken. County Commissioner Jerry Scott says the chain of communication had missing links.

 

All parties agreed to table the issue, with a vote expected on this week's agenda in the county.
