City of Columbus Reports Progress on Computer Systems

The City of Columbus reports it is making progress on restoring the City’s utility billing and financial systems.

The City has closed its offices on multiple occasions in an attempt to restore those systems. The last closure occurred last Wednesday through Friday. City officials now say they have made significant progress on the issue, stating that they were able to process billing statements for November utility bills. Customers can expect to receive those later this week. The due date for those bill will be November 30 and no late fees will be charged this cycle.

Starting today the City of Columbus will be able to accept utility payments via check, cash, and credit card. The online payment portal will be re-activated as well. City Hall will also return to normal hours and will be open from 8am to 4:30.
