Departmental Reports Top Agenda for Montgomery County Commission

The Montgomery County Commission will meet today and hear quarterly reports from several different departments.

Director of Environmental Health and Zoning Matt Debo will update the commission on the workings in his department. Kenneth Fecke will also appear before the commission to report on Juvenile Community Corrections while Dennis Webb will report on the status of Adult Community Corrections.

There will also be a discussion on Resolution 24-128, which moves County Commission meetings to Tuesday nights when Monday is a holiday. The original resolution was adopted last year in hopes it would allow more citizens to attend commission meetings. There will also be an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
