The Columbus City Hall will be closed for the remainder of this week.
The closure will allow staff to continue their work on restoring the city's billing and financial systems. City officials are optomistic that this will be the final closure needed in the restoration efforts. Essential city services including Public Works, Police, and Fire will continue to operate as normal.
While City Hall is closed, residents who need assistance with starting, transferring, or terminating utility service; scheduling a VIN inspection; purchasing a cemetery plot; or reporting a water leak or other utiklity emergency can call 620-429-6173 for assistance.
