Authorities in Rogers County, Oklahoma, arrest a 73-year-old woman who accused of trying to kill her husband.
Rogers County Sheriff's deputies arrested Naomi Austin over the weekend, accusing the woman of trying to kill her husband 77-year-old Harry Showman at their Claremore home. Investigators say evidence suggests that Austin intentionally disconnected the victim's oxygen supply and that she sent messages to family members stating that her husband needed to die.
Austin has denied the allegations. She faces charges of solicitation for murder and abuse by a caretaker. She was booked into the Rogers County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
