A Co-ed softball tournament in memory of a Coffeyville teen will be held in December.
The Serafina O'Connell Memorial Co-ed Softball tournament will be held on December 13 at Coffeyville's Le Clere Park. The tournament will feature a 7/3 or 8/4 format and all players must be a minimum of 16 years old. There is a $200 entry fee per team. Other rules incluide: USSSA, MAT Ball; Women-Any ball; Men-44 Cor, 375 max compression; No Ultra/SR BATS; HALO Rule
Serafina O'Connell was a 15-year-old Field Kindley High School student and avid softball player who tragically lost her life following a September 26 car accident.
