Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest two people following a high-speed chase on Saturday night.
The incident began when law enforcement observed a red Hyundai driving eastbound on K-171 southeast of Pittsburg. The vehicle was traveling in excess of 90 mph. The vehicle then turned and headed north on 260th Road. As the car approached the junction with US-160 near the state line, the driver left the roadway and overcorrected before entering the ditch. The vehicle then rolled, ejecting both the male driver and a female passenger. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.
Charges in the case are pending with the Crawford County Attorney’s Office.
