The Cherryvale City Council will meet tonight after its last regular meeting was cancelled due to a lack of quorum.
Tonight, the council will consider a request for funding from the Montgomery County Action Council, fire department electrical upgrades, and telephone and IT upgrades. There will also be a memorandum of understanding with the Cherryvale Recreation Commission and USD 447 regarding development of the Lake Tanko area. Several city ordinances are expected to be passed, including animal control regulations, use of generators, parking of RVs and public nudity. The 3rd quarter treasurer's report will also be given in addition to a discussion on bids for flooring in the Logan Park Community Building. Tonight's meeting begins at 6 p.m. the the Cherryvale City Hall and the public is welcome to attend.
