The Montgomery County Commission will meet today and hear from the County Treasurer and County Appraiser regarding Delinquent Oil and Gas Taxes.

 

County Treasurer Mandi Hargis and County Appraiser Melody Kikkert will join County Administrator Jonathan Booe in an open discussion on the topic of delinquent oil and gas tax notices for residents of Montgomery County.

 

In other business, Booe will also discuss with commissioners a lease agreement with Bartlett while Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will present a benefit cost analysis fee proposalfrom the engineering firm of Cook, Flatt & Strobel for just under $50,000 for the resubmission of a BUILD grant application to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

 

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
