Daylight Saving Time Fall Back This Weekend

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend.

It's that time again when most of the United States and the world returns to Standard Time. Daylight Saving Time came into existence for most of the world during the First World War in 1918 in order to allow more daylight in the morning in an effort to save fuel for the war effort. It was discontinued in the U.S. when the war ended, but was reinstated during World War 2.

Hawaii and most of Arizona along with the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and Guam do not observe Daylight Saving Time and, therefore, will miss out on the extra hour of sleep this weekend.

Make sure to set your clocks back by one hour tomorrow night.
