A Columbus boy is seriously injured after being thrown from the hood of a car on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, when Columbus Police received reports of a injuries to a juvenile male located on the west side of the City. Officers arrived on the scene to find the boy lying unconscious on the ground.
The boy was taken via MedFlight helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield where he remains in critical but stable condition.
Columbus Police say another juvenile was driving the car when the accident occurred. The incident remains under investigation.
