Wilson County is searching for poll workers for the upcoming November 4th election.

 

There are two different shifts on election day, with one from 6:30 a.m. to noon, and the other from noon to 8 p.m. Currently, the county is looking for one morning shift worker in Fredonia, three afternoon shifts in Fredonia, and one afternoon shift in Neodesha.

 

County Clerk Kayla Busch says the poll workers are an important part of the election process.

 

Those interested in serving as poll workers will not do so on a volunteer basis. Busch says there are multiple forms of compensation for those who help out.
