A Caney man is facing felony charges after allegedly evading police and possessing methamphetamine.
44-year-old Robert Martin, Jr. was charged yesterday in Washington County, OK, with endangering others while eluding police and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The charges stem from a September 5th incident in which Bartlesville Police attempted a traffic stop on Martin's vehicle. Instead of complying, officers say Martin fled, leading police on a chase through Bartlesville traffic. Police later found the suspect vehicle with no one inside. During a search, authorities discovered just over 5 grams of methamphetamine.
Martin will appear in court again on December 5th. He posted a $2,500 bond.
