A former Delaware County, Oklahoma, jailer is charged with sexual battery after an alleged affair with an inmate.

31-year-old Rebecca Chalakee was fired from her position with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office in Jay after an inmate in the jail accused Chalakee of conducted an intimate relationship with another inmate. Assistant Jail Adminnistrator 27-year-old Joseph Quigly is also charged in the case. Quigly is accused of attemtping to cover up the alleged relationship by lying to command stadd at the jail and to investigators. Quigly has also been relieved of his duties at the jail.

Both Chalakee and Quigly were arrested, charged and then released on bond.
