Two more lead awareness workshops happen this week in Montgomery County.

 

Tonight, the Local Health Equity Action Team will host a free event in Independence at Memorial Hall starting at 6 p.m.

 

Organizer Linda Follett says it's especially important for children and mothers to get tested, which will be done the same day. She says there will also be some great door prizes.

 

The final workshop will take place this Thursday at the Cherryvale Community Center starting at 6 p.m.
