Parsons Investigation Leads to Arrests and the Seizure of More Than a Pound of Meth

 

The Parsons Police Department arrests two suspects during an investigation that results in the seizure of over a pound of methamphetamine.

 

55-year-old Frederick Lewis and 45-year-old Leigh Stringfellow taken into custody on Tuesday following an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine. Based on information obtained during the initial investigation, police were able to obtain a search warrant for a Parsons residence located in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue, as well as for vehicles associated with Lewis and his known associates.

 

During the execution of the warrant, officers received information that Lewis was traveling near the target residence. Officers initiated a traffic stop, at which time a search of the vehicle revealed over one pound of methamphetamine. The search of the residence also resulted in the discovery of an additional 12 grams of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with narcotics distribution.

 

Lewis and Stringfellow were both arrested on suspicion of possession and distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
