An Arcadia woman is injured in a two-vehicle accident in Bourbon County.

79-year-old Patricia Wright-Morris suffered serious injuries yesterday afternoon when the 2024 Chevy Malibu was struck broadside by another vehicle. Wright-Morris was westbound of Calvary Road near the intersection with US-69 or about 8 miles south of Fort Scott when she failed to yield to traffic on the highway. Her vehicle was struck in the driver's side quarter panel. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg. No one in the other vehicle was injured.
