The Parsons Police Department arrests a suspect connected to two separate incidents of unlawful entry and criminal threats.
Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Ward Avenue for a report of a burglary in progress. The caller reported that the suspect, identified as Trinity Fields, had entered the residence without permission. Officers made contact with the reporting party outside the residence, who informed them that Fields was inside a back bedroom. Officers entered the residence, announced their presence, and located Fields, who was then taken into custody.
According to the investigation, Fields had been previously involved in a separate case on the prior evening involving aggravated burglary and criminal threat after allegedly kicking in a rear door and making threats to occupants. Despite being told not to return to the property, Fields allegedly re-entered the home through a rear window by removing a window-mounted air conditioner earlier in the day. The resident reported that Fields was not a tenant and had no permission to be inside the home. Officers observed evidence consistent with forced entry, including the air-conditioning unit, which was photographed and documented. Fields was arrested on new charges of criminal trespass, in addition to the pending charges related to the prior burglary investigation.
