A Baxter Springs man enters a guilty plea to federal child pornography charges.

41-year-old Kenneth Baker pled guilty in a Wichita federal courtroom last week to one count of distributing the illegal materials. Baker was arrested by FBI agents in June who began investigating him in February after software detected a request for images coming from his I-P address. A search warrant served on his property in June revealed more than 2,000 files and 150 videos on his laptop computer.

Baker is scheduled to be sentenced in January. Attorney General Kris Kobach has recommended an 11 year prison sentence for the offense.
