The Interstate Fair and Rodeo in Coffeyville is looking for area high school students interested in becoming candidates for the Fair’s Junior Advisory Board.
The J-A-B’s purpose is to provide valuable input to the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo Association and Chairmans about what teens would like to see and do at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo. Board members are expected to fulfill a variety of duties such as attending all J-A-B monthly meetings, contribute volunteer hours for Fair planning and events, and interact positively with Fair attendees and participants.
The Inter-State Fair and Rodeo is currently seeking applications from interested high school candidates from Montgomery, Labette, and Chautauqua counties in Kansas and from Craig, Nowata, and Washington counties in Oklahoma. Members of the Junior Advisory Board must be Freshmen to Seniors upon appointment.
