Cherryvale honors the Cherryvale High School 1975 State Runner-Up football team at CHS’s most recent game.
Members of the team along with coaches, managers, and cheerleaders from the historic season were recognized during a half-time ceremony at Friday night’s home football game against Bluestem at the Logan Park Stadium. More than 20 CHS alumi were recognized during the game. That historic team had a record of 12 wins with their only loss coming in the 2A Championship game against Beloit.
To add to the celebration, the Chargers defeat Bluestem 42-18.
