A Bartlesville man faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening to shoot up a Bartlesville elementary school.
49-year-old Broderick Anderson was charged yesterday for threatening to perform an act of violence and committing acts resulting in outraging public decency.
Bartlesville Police says Anderson was allegedly hostile to elementary school staff and to authorities on campus August 14th, as students were being released. Anderson is accused of yelling profanities at authorities and school staff in the presence of children.
As Anderson was confronted by a school official about his behavior, Anderson allegedly responded by threatening to shoot up the school.
Anderson's bond was set at $25,000; his next court appearance was set for October 29th.
