More than 1,000 people packed downtown Coffeyville for another night of trick-or-treating.
The Coffeyville Chamber's annual Spooktacular event filled the sidewalks of downtown along 8th, 9th and Walnut.
Face painting, free hot dogs, Kool-Aid and lots of candy were handed out by local businesses and organizations. Spooktacular takes place on the Thursday before Neewollah week to avoid conflicting with events in Independence.
