Authorities in Dodge City release the identities of the three victims of a weekend fire.

 

Dodge City officials have confirmed that Ismael, Ruth, and Daniel Marquez perished in a residential fire on Sunday morning. Around 9:40am, firefighters arrived at the scene on the southern edge of Dodge City to find two trailer homes and three vehicles on fire. One of the homes was fully engulfed in flames.

 

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading, but they were unable to save the three victims.

 

The Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire. A GoFundMe has been established to help the family.
