The Nowata County Commission meets for a regularly scheduled meeting at the Nowata County Annex.

 

At yesterday's meeting, commissioners heard an update on radio tower projects from across the county. Commissioner Brandon Wesson says there is one final step before the full maintenance project is completed.

 

The tower in question has a previous history of water leaks. Commissioner Paul Crupper reported that maintenance is still underway on the radio tower in New Alluwe.

 

Once the entire project is complete, first responders will be able to get a stronger radio signal in more rural areas of the county.

 

In other business, commissioners also approved a resolution to make Guy Engineering the responsible party for bridge inspections in the county.
