Independence Fire & EMS Department launches Operation Christmas Joy, in which they will adopt one deserving family in the community.

 

The chosen family will receive a festive holiday meal along with presents for their children, courtesy of Independence Fire & EMS. In order to assist this deserving family, the department is asking for the community's help in identifying the right recipients.

 

To nominate a family, submit a brief letter describing the family's current circumstances and why they would benefit from this support. Anyone who knows a family facing significant challenges this holiday season is invited to nominate them. All nominations will remain confidential. Submissions must be received by Friday, November 7.
