The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College welcomes musician Ruth Wyand to the Spencer Rounds Theater .
Wyand explores the roots and evolution of American music through performance and discussion, highlighting the lives and contributions from musicians such as Stephen Foster, Ma Rainey. Jimmy Rogers, Scott Joplin and more. Audiences will experience a wide range of American songwriters and see how their creativity has shaped popular music across genres.
Wyand will perform tomorrow night at 6:30 in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. Admission to the concert if free.
