Farm City Days happens this weekend in Iola.
The celebration will feature a bull bash and mutton busting on Saturday night at the Allen County Fairgrounds, a Saturday morning parade, and activities and events for the kids all day Saturday. There will be live music and a street dance to begin festivities on Friday night.
Farm City Days began in 1971 when three members of the Allen County Farm Bureau decided that letting townspeople tour farms, it would help them better understand the daily problems and concerns of farmers.
