Authorities in Emporia are considering charges against a juvenile is accused of intentionally setting a fire last month.

The juvenile is suspected of setting a structure fire on September 20. Fire crews were able to bring the blaze quickly under control and no injuries were reported in the incident, but investigators determined the fire had been intentionally set.

The juvenile has been referred to the Lyon County Attorney's Office to determine what, if any, charges will be file d. The name of the suspect has not been released due to their age.
