Missing Oklahoma College Student Found Deceased; Suspect in Custody

An 18-year-old Southwestern Oklahoma State University student missing since September 30 is found deceased.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the body of Logan Musil was discovered on Wednesday in a wooded area near Veterans Lake near Sulphur, Oklahoma. Authorities have been investigating the disappearance of the man since he was reported missing last week. An investigation has revealed that Musil had been involved in an altercation with another student at S-W-O-S-U prior to going missing. Based on evidence, 18-year-old Cameron Lewis has been arrested in connection to the case. The suspect was booked into the Custer County Jail for murder and for transferring Musil's body to the location where it was found.

Formal charges will be determined by the U.S. District Attorney's Office for the Western District of Oklahoma because the suspect is Native American.

Musil's remains have been transferred to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
