The Wilson County Commission is designating funds to the Appraiser's Office, in order to replace a vital piece of equipment.
The copier in the Appraiser's Office has been deteriorating for months, and is now at a point where it's barely useable. County Appraiser Jessica Porter says many position responsibilities require a functioning copier.
Additionally, the commissioners heard a report from Health Department Director Amy Lell, who provided an update regarding an issue involving a resident's sceptic tank leaking into their neighbor's yard. She says since this issue has been going on for months, the county health department can now begin to impose fines.
The county commission will next meet on October 15th at 9 a.m. in Room 101 of the County Courthouse in Fredonia.
