Authorities in Sumner County release the names of two victims killed in a crash of Tuesday morning.

56-year-old John Stoddard of Belle Plaine and 29-year-old Michael Windahl of Harper both died Tuesday morning when their vehicles collided in a head-on collision on US-160 near Wellington. Following the crash, both vehicles caught fire. The accident occurred when Stoddard's F-150 went left-of-center on the highway and into the path of Windahl's Peterbuilt semi.

US-160 was in both directions at the site of the crash to allow for clean-up by emergency crews.
