The Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation announces the recipients of the 2025 CRMC Foundation Scholarships. The winners of the 2025 Best Family Medical Scholarships are Viridiana Ornelas and Kaygan Fleming. Both are LPNs pursuing their RN degrees at Coffeyville Community College.

Ornelas began working as a CNA at CRMC in 2017, while attending Field Kindley High School. She is a Coffeyville resident and plans to use her skills as an RN in Acute Care and Women’s Health at CRMC. Ornelas is also the recipient of the new Barry and Carol Phillips Nursing Scholarship. This scholarship was established earlier this year.

Fleming works at Americare-Montgomery Place in Independence. She is a Caney Valley High School graduate and resides in Tyro with her husband and four daughters. Fleming’s goals include becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
