KDOT to Hold Local Consult Meeting in Pittsburg

The Kansas Department of Transportation is holding local consult meetings across the state this month to get input from citizens about transportation priorities.

KDOT holds the consult meetings every two years to give residents a voice in how transportation dollars are spent across the state. The meetings are held in each of the state’s seven regions to discuss potential expansion and modernization projects and to identify what KDOT programs matter most to local communities. Consult meetings also help strengthen local partnerships and allow KDOT to gather feedback to improve the agency’s delivery of services.

The consult meeting for southeast Kansas will be held tomorrow from 9am to noon at the Memorial Auditorium in Pittsburg. There will also be a state-wide, virtual meeting to be held on the evening of October 28th.
