Oklahoma Tax Revenues Up for September

 

Tax revenues in the State of Oklahoma are up for the month of September.

 

That's the latest from Oklahoma State Treasurer Todd Russ. September revenue in the State came in at just over $1.4 billion and increase of nearly 18% as compared to August receipts. Income tax led the increase, up 69%, bringing in a total of $651.5 million. The state unemployment rate is 3.1%, well under the national rate of 4.3%

 

The Oklahoma Business C onditions Index held steady at 50.8

 

Russ stated that the numbers are proof that the state's fiscal picture continues to show encouraging momentum.
