One man is in custody following the execution of a search warrant in Frontenac.
40-year-old Nathan Derry of Frontenac was arrested on Thursday after a high-risk search warrant was served on a residence in the 600 block of Valarie Street in Frontenac. The warrant was issued as part of an ongoing investigation into multiple felony offenses including rape and kidnapping. During the search, additional evidence was discovered that resulted in more alleged offenses including possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm while addicted to an unlawful controlled substance.
Derry was booked into the Crawford County Jail where he awaits formal charging in the case. The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Crawford County Sheriff's Office assisted on the arrest.
